Desktop Publisher – Total Learning Concepts (Lawrenceville, New Jersey)
Designed training materials and PowerPoint presentations for pharmaceutical companies for this division of Publicis Selling Solutions.

  • Spearheaded a transition from Microsoft Word design to Adobe InDesign, created a new design workflow, and developed reusable templates and graphic libraries that increased efficiency and resulted in better products and proposals.
  • Partnered with a Web designer and a junior graphic designer to revamp the TLC company website, www.tlconline.com.
  • Served such major clients as Johnson & Johnson and Shire.


Senior Graphic Designer – Altered Image (Matawan, New Jersey)

Developed and produced meeting materials and PowerPoint presentations for this family-owned design studio specializing in pharmaceutical companies and large events. Traveled to meeting sites to run presentations and oversee audiovisual delivery.

  • Developed the brand identity and theme, chosen out of 33 possible designs, for a large-scale campaign for client Alcon
  • Served such other clients as Forest Laboratories, Johnson & Johnson, and Shire.

Graphic Designer – Educational Testing Service (Princeton, New Jersey)
Produced print and Web products such as books, brochures, fliers, and website banners and graphics for this educational publications company. Used Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, as well as Quark Xpress. Worked closely with Web developers and designers.
  • Designed promotional e-mails in Photoshop to be converted into HTML for dissemination.

  • Designed multimedia materials including a website, CD-ROM, labels and booklet for the 30th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission for attendees and honorees at a celebratory reception at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum.
  • Created a website commemorating the astronauts aboard the Space Shuttle Columbia for NASA’s Printing Department.


Space Telescope Science Institute, Baltimore, Maryland · 1994-2002

NASA contractor responsible for all aspects of the Hubble Space Telescope Project.

Graphic Designer, Illustrator, 3D Animator
Developed a wide variety of print and electronic products for the Office of Public Outreach, including books, lithographs, posters, trading cards, and illustrations. Co-created some of the Institute’s first websites. Designed 3D / 2D animations for videos, television programs, and news releases.

  • Won numerous awards, including the 2002 Telly Award for animation in HubbleMinute; 1997 and 1998 Space Telescope’s Group Achievement Award for the Amazing Space website and the NGST science monograph, respectively; 1995 NASA Group Achievement Award for Comet Shoemaker-Levy Public Affairs Team; and 1994 NASA Goddard Space Flight Center Award for Exceptional Professionalism in Public Affairs Activities, among others.
